The 5 Top Health Tips of All Time

Jul 22, 2024

Introduction

Let’s talk about the five top health tips(information) of all time. Someone suggested doing this on one of my informational videos, so I sat down and really took a look at what the most important tips that you should focus on would be. To do that, I had to first look at the top worst tips of all time, which are some of these right here. Then, to come up with the best tips, it’s just a good way to figure things out by looking at the opposite side.

Avoid the Worst Tips

The problem that most people are running into is that they Google stuff and try to find the best tips. What they’re going to get is either the worst tips or trivial things. So what I want to focus on is the most vital things to produce the most health. Mainstream talks about doing low fat, low salt, drinking lots of water, gallons of water. Now, there’s nothing wrong with drinking enough water, but you could actually overdo it, especially if you’re low on salt because you’re diluting your electrolytes if you’re drinking gallons of water.

Tip #1: Keep Insulin Levels Normal

People are brainwashed to think that lean proteins are better than fattier proteins, but here’s the thing: lean proteins will stimulate the hormone insulin. Keeping your insulin levels normal is probably the best health advice you can give someone because that’s going to result in preventing so many health problems, from inflammation to fatty liver to metabolic syndrome, to blood pressure, to decrease your risk of getting cancer, and the list goes on. To do that, you need to lower your carb intake and consume fattier proteins because leaner proteins on the insulin index will stimulate insulin more than fattier proteins. This also includes consuming an egg in its whole form versus just the egg white. Vegetable oils such as soy oil, corn oil, canola, and cottonseed are highly inflammatory and can trigger insulin resistance so, when you were taught to replace saturated fats with vegetable oils, that was the worst advice.

Tip #2: Lose Weight by Getting Healthy First

The next tip is to lose weight and get healthy. If you look up pretty much any health condition, they’re going to tell you that you need to lose weight because obesity is a risk factor. However, a better approach is to get healthy to lose weight first, not lose weight to get healthy. This might sound simple and obvious, but it’s very powerful. Instead of focusing on your weight, focus on getting healthy, and you will lose the weight as a byproduct, along with other great health benefits. People who are focused on weight loss might choose the wrong program that makes them unhealthy, especially if they’ve been advised to lower their calories. Every diet works as long as you keep your calories low, but this is bad advice. When you restrict calories, you slow the metabolism and cut nutrients. Instead, get on a healthy eating plan that increases nutrients and provides the right type of fuel for your body to lose weight healthily.

Tip #3: Intermittent Fasting and Avoid Snacking

The next piece of bad advice is to eat six small meals per day to prevent overeating, which is the worst advice because every time you eat, you trigger insulin. Intermittent fasting is very important. You need to skip your breakfast. I used to recommend consuming breakfast, but I found out that was bad information. You don’t want to consume breakfast because you want to increase your fasting time, which will help shift your metabolism into burning your own fat, making you extremely healthy. Instead of lowering your calories, decrease the frequency of eating. Stop snacking because every time you snack, you stimulate insulin.

Tip #4: Adopt a Healthy Keto Diet

Exercise is great, but it ranks lower on the list of health tips. Reducing added sugars is important, but the advice to reduce sugars to six teaspoons per day is still too high for ketosis, as it will increase insulin. It’s better to get rid of all sugars. The advice that there are no bad foods, just a variety of foods, is bad advice, likely created by the junk food industry. There are bad foods that will cause health problems. The idea that everything in moderation is okay will prevent you from reaching ketosis. To get healthy, you must bring down carbs and have higher amounts of fat, not everything in moderation. No one diet is for everyone is another piece of bad advice. Our bodies are similar in how they respond to insulin. Any diet that lowers insulin will improve health. Keto, when done healthfully with quality ingredients and nutrient-dense foods, is an effective diet.

Tip #5: Incorporate Exercise, Sleep, and Stress Reduction

Physical activity, sufficient sleep, and correct management of stress are vital for a healthy existence. These then are the five leading health tips when comparing them with the others. Physical activity enables one to manage his or her weight, enhances mood and the overall health of the cardiovascular system. Ideally, this should be at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity at least 5 to 6 days of the week. While, sleep plays a very important role for restoring the body as well as the mind. Try to get about 7-9 hours per night to improve your cognitive abilities, the mood and the immune response.

The same is true of decreasing the level of stress. Stress, if it is chronic, causes so many sicknesses such as high blood pressure and other ailments that suppress ones immune system. Try to incorporate activities that reduce stress in your everyday activities like practice of mindfulness, deep breathing or yoga.

Furthermore, taking of balanced diet and low fat foods, increased intake of fruits, vegetables, whole grain products and lean protein foods enhances the health of a person. Another important element is hydration, which is known to be as important as oxygen for the human body, especially during working hours. It is recommended that you should always consult your doctor in order to be on safe side and also to have your problem looked at early enough.

If anyone has a better idea you are welcomed to suggest it in the comment section. If you have questions on a product, have never initiated a keto diet, or have challenges with your diet, I have a keto consultant waiting to help you. At present, this service can only be used in the United States.
